California Transparency in Supply Chains Act

CMargs’ Commitment to Ethical Sourcing

At CMargs, we are committed to ethical and responsible business practices. We support the principles of the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010, which aims to eliminate human trafficking and forced labor in supply chains.

Below is how we address these issues within our sourcing and supply chain operations:

1. Verification of Supply Chains

  • We work with reputable suppliers and sourcing partners who adhere to fair labor standards.
  • Our suppliers are required to certify that their products are free from forced labor, child labor, and human trafficking.
  • We conduct periodic reviews of supplier compliance using third-party auditing firms or internal assessments.

2. Supplier Audits

  • We perform risk-based audits on suppliers, with a focus on high-risk regions and industries.
  • Audits may be announced or unannounced, depending on risk levels.
  • Non-compliant suppliers must take corrective action or risk terminating our business relationship.

3. Supplier Certification

  • Our suppliers must certify that their operations comply with all local and international labor laws, including those prohibiting human trafficking and slavery.
  • New suppliers undergo a vetting process before approval.

4. Internal Accountability

  • CMargs maintains strict policies against forced labor and unethical labor practices.
  • Employees and supply chain partners are expected to adhere to our Code of Conduct.
  • Violations can result in disciplinary action, contract termination, or legal action.

5. Employee Training

  • Our team receives training on identifying and preventing human trafficking and forced labor within our supply chain.
  • Employees who manage supplier relationships are trained to recognize and address supply chain risks.

6. Reporting Concerns

  • If you suspect unethical practices related to our supply chain, you can report concerns by contacting ethics@cmargs.com.
  • We take all reports seriously and will investigate any claims related to forced labor or human trafficking.

We continuously work to strengthen our supply chain oversight and ensure that our business operates with integrity and respect for human rights.
